Werbebanner in Sidebar einbinden – Upgrade benötigt?

Wie kann ich in WordPress einen Werbebanner auf der Sidebar einbinden? Ist es rechtens einen Werbebanner eines Internetshops, der für eine Kooperation zur Verfügung stand, einzubinden? Benötige ich dafür WordAds? Oder gibt WordPress dann die Werbebanner vor? Benötige ich eine eigene Domain?

Hi, please can you tell me if it´s possible to integrate an banner ad in my sidebar? I´ve got a WordPress Standard Version. It´s an cooperation request from an onlineshop for baking accessories. They want to have the banner ad for some products they gave me to integrate in my food photos, like cupcake wrapper and so on. I´ve get no money from them for integrate the banner ad.

If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. If it’s your own shop where you sell your own products, that is allowed. Otherwise, it’s advertising.
