    Hello there, All WordPressdotcom sites are served over secure server so any site URL must start with HTTPS. https://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

    However, this is not the same as running a storefront with SSL here on WordPressdotcom. There is currently no e-commerce solution available and it is not secure to ask for credit card details by contact form and suchlike. The only way you would be able to receive payment currently is by adding a PayPal button or by linking to an off-site shop like on ArtFire or Etsy, etc.
