What’s wrong with your login to Gravatar?
-
I’ve registered on WordPress (although I didn’t want to) in order to login to Gravatar, as the unintuitive design of the logging in has swayed me, despite the fact that I already had Gravatar account.
And now I cannot login to Gravatar, it says I need to activate my account, which I did and spins me around.
How can I login to my account?

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.
This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.
If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.
If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.

What does blog address got to do anything with this? I don’t have a blog, I was reading someone else’s blog, like this one for example http://www.steveumstead.com/wp-comments-post.php.
I cannot login to Gravatar and I went for Support which suggested me to post a question here.

Gravatar support is closed, as you can see, which is why you got dumped here. I tagged this “Gravatar” and staff are presumably aware of the NUMEROUS issues with Gravatars this weekend, and will get working on a fix.

Hi sinisasasic,
When you try logging in with your original Gravatar account here, what happens?
https://en.gravatar.com/site/loginIf you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it using this link:
https://en.gravatar.com/account/forgot-password/Note that by creating a new WordPress.com account, you have two accounts with WP.com now, so when you go to log in, be sure you are using the email address associated with the initial Gravatar account rather than your new WordPress.com account.

@jackiedana
On weekends like the last one and on meet-up travel to and fro, as well as, during meetups we Volunteers find support links are being disabled and bloggers needing help are getting the run-around by being looped back to this peer support forum. This is crazymaking.1. I suggest that when Staff disable support links that they choose to loop them right in the Staff answers forum and not to the peer support forums.
2. Alternatively, I suggest that some North American Staff be scheduled to work on weekends as one would expect at any IT site.

This has been solved by itself. I just did the usual sign in and it worked (which didn’t work yesterday).
Thanks.

I’m not surprised it works today as there are others who experienced the same thing. It’s not longer the weekend so now the links is operational.

Sorry I did not proofread and relied on my app above:
Edit: It’s no longer the weekend so now the link is operational.

Well, I guess the others have 4 more days to do fix their Gravatars LOL.
Seriously, you are right. It should be treated better, this sucks.
