What about the Plain Vanilla theme?

The Plain Vanilla theme for WordPress is a wonderful clean and simple theme. It would be a perfect match with the other themes so: Why don’t you install it on WordPress.com? I would thank you very much if you would install it :)

If it’s this one, it is GPL but it’s also pretty old and a fair bit of work would be required to bring it up to date with the features wp.com users have come to expect (e.g. widgets, custom header, avatars, tags).
It is also really boring and generic, but you probably already worked that out from the title ;)

I’m sorry, I wanted to post the link to the theme but forgot it ;) I don’t think it’s boring, just minimalistic what I like very much. I know it’s old but I don’t think that it’s to hard to make it work with all the wp.com features.
