what am I doing wrong?????

i am new here and have posted two blogs and even a forum topic, but i am UNABLE to see ANY OF IT in the tags on the main page OR the forum topic on the list either… can ANYONE help me??? my blogs are set for PUBLIC. I dated my posts to list the day earlier than the actual date, so there is no delay or scheduled listing. I can put my blog title in “search” and find me that way. but as of now I havent had a single reader and the way I am seeing it, never will if my blogs arent found in the tags..

General answer: New blogs do not appear immediately. However, without a link to your blog or telling us what tag(s) you are looking for it’s near impossible to help you in any case.

is your blog you are not doing anything wrong.
But you are using some highly competitive tags.
tags such christianity or life are great, but they tag page can fill up in minutes.
A suggestion for new bloggers:
still use those tags… overtime they will help you on search engines.
But add a couple tags about your posts that are not as commonly uses also.
search the forums and check out other how other blogs use Categories and tags. -
a link to my blog?? and before i posted i put my first blog under relationships and christianity. is there something I am missing? and also what do you mean by “NEW” new to the site or new as in every blog i post will take days to appear from here on out??

for example
you might consider your post on Bonds
using a tag like “marriage” or “bonds” as well.
these are just suggestions. you can tag how ever you wish.its recommended that one uses no more than twelve categories/tags.

ok thanks. so the pages “FILL UP” there is only so much room and i could be getting pushed out?? ok understood. I will add a few extra tags and see if my posts become visible..on the downside of that though, if the tags arent too common then could also be over looked by readers? ok i’ll get this together.. THANX all

ok. thank you ALL for your input. I ended up RE-posting my two original blogs with other tags/categories and i am now visible on the main tag page.THANK YOU THANK YOU for your time and help.

Side note: My blog posts make it into Google a lot faster than into the search on the WordPress.com home page.

WPVSTP…. question for you… just went and looked at your blog. HOW did you set it up to only show a summary of your posting so we have to click on “read more…” I have looked but seem to be over looking something????
