what am I doing wrong with the text widget?

  I’m trying to paste the following html code into a text widget to show as a badge on my blog. Any idea what’s wrong with it? Each time I save in the widget, the code shortens and then it doesn’t work.

  It’s a bitly shortlink and that’s why it’s not working.

  Go here and simply capture the image so you have it on your desktop.
  Upload it and link it to that site and paste the code into a text widget.
