  What is a category? What is it used for?

  A category is basically a subject for your Post. You’ll have a listing of categories on your blog where a visitor can see more of your posts under that subject. For example, if you hit this category of mine: Kim Possible, you’ll see all of my posts within that category.

  An additonal feature of categories is that there will be a link within your blog to the tag system where your visitors can see other posts on the same subject made by other bloggers.
