what are incoming links?

  I tried doing a WHOIS query on the domain – came up with Public Domain Registry as the registrar company – couldn’t see anything regarding a hosting company. They claim to be ICANN accredited so I wrote a complaint to their support department and informed them that this particular domain has poached my content without my permission which is a violation of their service agreement. I haven’t heard back yet. I’m not feeling very optimistic about having my content removed from that bogus site. So frustrating.

  I always just report them to Google, repeatedly, and eventually Google yanks their Adsense account and there goes the reason for the blog.

  Hi,

  I’m new to all this and although I’ve spent countless hours trying to understand much of WP some things I still can’t figue. Today I found 2 incoming links. Naturally, I was excited! But when I click on them, they only take me back to my blog. I don’t understand what is going on here.

  * Good Music n’ Cool Stuff linked here saying, “Check out the new skateboarding flick from DVS. Th …”
  * Good Music n’ Cool Stuff linked here saying, “It always amuses me seeing all these kids just bar …”

  So what does that mean? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks and cheers!
