What are Meta and Page Widgets for?

    Sorry to be dense, but I can’t find documentation on Meta Widgets or Page Widgets. When I add them to the side bar all I can do is edit a title box. What exactly are these Widgets for and when do I use them? Thanks.

    The meta widget just allows you to sign in from your regular blog, so if you’re looking at yourblog.wordpress.com without being signed in, just click on the meta widget and you’ll get the signin page. Once you’re signed in, it becomes a link to your dashboard, etc.

    The Pages widget displays all the pages in your blog (ie everything that’s not a POST) so if you don’t have any pages, it will be empty.

    The meta widget also includes your RSS links as well.
