What are the dotted squares in the Dashboard for?

  What purpose do the dotted squares, which have appeared on the Dashboard serve?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi. I can think of tons of places where “Dotted squares” appear. Could you be more specific please? Where on the dashboard do you see them (section, position, etc.)?

  I believe you mean the empty box shaped space outlined by dotted lines. I see them on my dashboard too but only when I click “screen options” on the top right hand corner of my Admin page and then choose Screen Layout – Number of Columns: __ 2 columns. When I choose 1 column what you refer to disappears.

  And it’s there for you to drag and drop modules from the left column to the right.
