What are the real stats?

  Do our site stats also include the views by our subscribers who only read our posts on their email notification or is it only recording the actual clicks on the URL?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Email notifications, at least the ones I receive, are excerpts, so if someone wants to read the entire post, they have to click through to get to your site. When they do that, then it is counted as a “view.” If they do not click through to read the rest of the post, then it is not counted.
