What are you using for WP Credits?
-
I’d like to offer something similar on my self-hosted site – users buy credits and then spend them on specific things – but all of the plugins I can find either don’t have enough functionality (FidUP) or don’t work predictably (myCRED), or only work with shopping carts I refuse to use (WooCommerce). The closest I’ve come is once my budget opens up some more having Gravity Forms customized to my needs, but that’s a ways off and I’d rather have this functionality working at debut.
…so, how are you running credits?

Credits happen here at WordPress.COM when bloggers cancel bundles of upgrades and keep part of the bundle of the upgrades they canceled.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

Thanks timethief, I’ve been running .com and .org websites since WP started up and am quite familiar. I was asking about the code running your credits service. How are you doing it? Is it a plugin? Could you share that code snippet with me? Is it in Jetpack? How can I get this functionality for my own sites?
