What aren't my Publicize connections showing up as followers on my front page?

  I have my blog connected to Facebook, Tumblr, LinkedIn and Twitter, but the friends, followers, etc. there are not included in the followers of my blog. They use to show up, but now only email followers are counted. Is this a new administrative change, or is there a connection I’m missing?

  Once you either disconnect/reconnect those services, or publish something on your blog and Publicize it out to them, your numbers will refresh.
