What can a group of guest authors do when host has died?

    We have an unusual situation. We are a group of 5 bloggers with permission to post at our site, however the host whose name the site is registered in has passed away and we are in danger of losing our content and our followers if the site is shut down. We would like to take over the payment ourselves, if possible, to keep the site alive. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    I’m really sorry to hear this. Is peskytruth.wordpress.com the address of the site you need help with? If so, please follow the steps listed here if you wish to transfer ownership:

    Deceased Site Owner

    The plan isn’t due to expire until July so that will continue working for a while longer — which gives you some time. Even if the plan expires, the content and media will remain in place :)
