What can be used to protect this blog from unauthorized logins?

If plugins are not available on this platform, what can be used that is similar to the Wordfence plugin to protect this blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Our free hosted WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for eCommerce transactions. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins.
