What can I use on my blog for friends to follow me?

  I am a new blogger , and would like a box or something for friends to click on it .. Have tried google thingy box,, but when i safe it on side in text widget all i get is a bunch of letters and numbers but no picture for people to click on! Can someone please help me on these issues.. thank you, Ingrid

  Google Friend or Facebook Connect widget code won’t work on WordPress.com because they include JavaScript.

  Here’s a list of allowed HTML tags that can be used in your widgets and posts/pages.

  You can also put a Subscribe to Blog Widget on the Sidebar and then friends that subscribe will get an email when you do a new Post.
