What Comes with the new domain when i buy it?

When I get a domain for my blog what all comes with that? Like will I have emails? or will I be able to add my logo to the blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can add your logo to the blog now, for free, assuming you have a WordPress.com blog. To get more precise answers, please give us the URL of the blog, starting with http.

When you buy a domain AND do Domain Mapping you get the use of the fancy just for you name (your-site.com and not your-site.wordpress.com) that is all.
Email can be added by using a coordinated service offered by Google. ((email visible only to moderators and staff))
You can change the logo now if you have chosen a Theme that the header can be changed. Or you can stick a logo in the sidebar now also.
You don’t get the right to add advertising unless you go all the way to VIP hosting (expensive)

With the purchase of a domain and the domain mapping upgrade, what that gives you is your own domain name that shows in the address bar of your browser. Whether you can add a logo or not depends on whether the theme you are using has a custom header feature. Some do. Some don’t. If your chosen theme doesn’t, then it would require some knowledge of CSS and the purchase of the CSS upgrade.
As far as email, you can use Google Apps for Domains to give you email addresses that appear to be right from your domain. They use an alias sort of thing to do that, and there are hundreds here using it.
Basically the domain and domain mapping give you just that. Your own custom domain name mapped to your blog. Nothing else.
