What comes with upgrading to Premium?
-
I am currently using the Mirror theme and want to really take my site to the next level by adding features such as WisePops etc. When I look through the tutorial videos I can’t find the specific places to go in order to properly install WisePops. For example, I need to go to Appearance->Editor->Footer (Footer.php). Am I looking in the wrong place or do I not have access to these functions and capabilities because I am not a premium member? If the case is that I need to be a premium member, how much does it cost and what features and functions come with the Mirror theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like you may require a self-hosted, WordPress.org site.
It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:
If a WordPress.com site is not sufficient for you, the following page will help you move to a WordPress.org site:

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
If you’d like assistance moving your WordPress.com site to WordPress.org, we have a service called Guided Transfer that does all the work for you. Check it out to see if it’s right for you:

Thanks for the reply! To be honest I am pretty torn about what to do. It would really be beneficial moving forward if i was able to add in various plugins as well as customize the site a bit more. Will the layout/theme I have transfer for over to .org? What is the backend like? I don’t have much knowledge on coding and what not, is it still fairly easy to use? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to do my due diligence before making a switch.

With enough time and effort, I’m sure you can get a WordPress.org site customized to your liking. However, a WordPress.org site does require more effort and ongoing maintenance than a WordPress.com site, since we do most of the heavy-lifting for you.
Please review the page I previously linked to to get a better idea of what will meet your specifications.
