What did I do to the RSS feed?

As usual, I changed my blog looks. I can’t see well so that is why the big print—-but that box for the RSS feed that did show all the ways to subscribe—-shows a white blank box where as before——it showed options to subscribe. By making the font larger—did that mess it up?

How is my blog loading? My users come to see the pics so yes, I know I have lots of pics but hopefully the load time isn’t too bad. Seems like my stats picked up a bit in the last hour hopefully due to the new changes made today.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It appears as if you have pasted the entire CSS into the edit box, which in most cases is not a good idea. When you do that, it ends up breaking all the relative URL’s for any images listed in the CSS. When you paste the complete CSS into the edit box and click “start from scratch…” you then have to go through the CSS and change all the relative URL’s to absolute URL’s because your stylesheet is saved in a different location from the original.

    Relative URL example: img/feeds.gif
    Absolute URL example: http://s3.wordpress.com/wp-content/themes/pub/inove/img/feeds.gif

Pasting the entire CSS also makes it much more difficult to keep track of exactly what you have changed and what you have not.

To fix the RSS icon you need to put the absolute URL I listed above into the CSS at #sidebar #feedrss .

Ok, I see what you mean. So tomorrow, I’ve got my work cut out for me. I’ll have to refer to the original stylesheet and change all those urls( or have my blog revert back and start over)—-boy I will not do that again. Valuable lesson learned. Thank you so much.
