What did the $18.00 get me?

I paid $18.00 because you said my blog was set to expire. Then you said this was an upgrade. I really didn’t want an upgrade, just to continue using my blog. Can you please explain? Is my registration renewal automatic? What is the cost for the blog? I do enjoy writing the blog and thank you for your service!

Hi there, $18 is the Domain Registration upgrade that gives a custom domain to your blog – adventurerose.com instead of adventurerose.wordpress.com. This upgrade is valid for one year. Having a blog and keeping your content with us is free, but a custom domain is a special extra we charge for.
It looks like you are currently not using your custom domain as primary. You can update your primary domain under Store > Domains in your dashboard.
