Do I buy template, upload content, then find a host? Does wordpress host? If so what are your fees, are you secure? What happens if I need help upload my content? Ive never done this before. I already have a domain name which is a .com.au

For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.COM is a host – hosting is free but for your business there will be some fees to get what you want / need

You can domain map your .com.au domain name to a “blog” here $ 13.– US / year – that will replace the your-site.wordpress.com with your-site.com ( the site linked to my name is domain mapped)

Since you want a business site, you should buy the No Ads Upgrade $ 30.– US / year (WordPress.COM will sometimes run ads on blogs here to help pay the bills)

Look at all the Themes, there are about 220 of them, most are free. You should be able to find a theme that is close for free

    Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes

Caution, a theme looks different from the live preview with an empty site to a site that has content on it.

Most of the help comes from your fellow bloggers here in this forum – we are not paid but volunteer to help – if you need extra help we refer you to the staff for help

Upload content is built into the dashboard for Posts, Pages and Media (pictures)

Quite secure – 65,000,000+++ sites here including CNN.COM and many other major companies

Find a free theme you like and put some content on it to get used to things here. Don’t get anal about the theme, content brings people

Good news – WordPress.COM is easy to use – Bad news it is easy to use and people skip the instructions

It is not real hard for the basics, but there are a lot of options and such and to a first time user it is confusing at times, people also forget that they have been using a Word Processing program for years and years and expect to learn WordPress in 10 minutes.
