What do I do if my account for wordpress is hacked?

NO-ONE IS HACKED HERE
They guessed your password because you made it easy, your password was not good.
All you can do is change the password. I cannot restore anything.
-
Or they accessed it from a public computer and didn’t sign out. I found somebody’s Paypal account open the other day.
-
Don’t you love those? I find yahoo mail, facebook, etc accounts still open all of the time.
+1 for rebooting when finished with a public terminal. Many of them do at least a partial reinstall during a reboot.
-
How do you handle the public computer terminals where they have them restricted down and you don’t have access to clearing cookies? Just make sure you logout all the time I guess.

Yes, you should ALWAYS log out. Heck, I log out on my own computer, and it’s not as if someone would ever steal it; it’s older than God!

My account is not really hacked
Im just posting this topic because what happens I really got hacked -
@forums12345
There is a lot of unnecessary “drama” when it comes to Club Penguin. Apparently kids like to scare each other with threats of hacking. The question you should be asking is: how do I prevent my blog from being hacked?
The answer is here: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/06/16/staying-secure/

Reboot it yourself or ask their staff to do so if you don’t have that level of access either.

forums12345, do not post hypothetical situations as if they were real. You waste our time and make all the volunteers less likely to help you in the future. Remember the boy who cried wolf.

um.. raincoaster
I like to call it a Backup Question
I was just posting this topic because just incase I really got hacked
I would’nt know to contact staff at wordpress dot comIf I try to make this topic when I got hacked, that’s not possible
I can’t access it because the hacker change the password and e-mail -
Then please simply do a search in the future when you don’t know the answer to a question. Nine times out of ten the answer already exists in the forum.
