What do I do: just realised my paid wp.com is not customizable

  Hello all, I’d really appareciate some advice on this. I’ve just moved from my blogspot account to wp.com (paid feature to have my own domain name). However after practising tweaking the site, I have come to learn that wp.com doesn’t allow for the use of themes from other creators, and neither can I embed widgets like the ones in my blogpost account. I know it is my fault, I should have researched first and find out that what I was looking for really is a wp.org account :(( What do I do?? My website is an online business, and I think I’ve made a mistake. I don’t suppose there’s a refund policy?? My product order form html doesn’t work either here.. :(
