There is a single page we can post to in any blog. By default the front page of a blog displays all published posts in reverse chronological order with the most recently published post on top.
There are differences between posts and pages described here
https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/I recommend using the step by step tutorial linked to the bottom of your Admin page https://learn.wordpress.com
See also the “Video Quick Start” tutorial http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/
The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also linked to on the bottom of your Admin page.
re: website or blog
A blog is a website.A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.
What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds, and as others do not backlink to pages, it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.
Any WordPress blog can be restructured from being post based to being page based – no upgrade required. For greater clarity read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/
Here’s a link to my step by step post too http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/07/25/create-a-wordpress-website-step-by-step/
Note that every theme will have a detailed theme description page with set up instructions and a live demo site page that you can consult. Here’s an example:

Here’s the link for the iOs forum for the WordPress app http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/ so you can post there and make our WordPress developers aware of your issue. http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and make our developers aware of the issue.

As I try to get clear with my problem-I must reiterate I cannot access anything on my administration page or the dashboard. When I go to that page all it shows our lines that say warning: creating default object from empty value in/home/D Lehnis public HTML WP-content etc. etc. i’m wondering if there is someway to start all over again? Any further thoughts or suggestions will be much appreciated.

I am feeling a little foolish. I do not see the tags in the right-hand column on my iPad. Also, I registered for the support form and have not received an email back yet. I am confused. I do appreciate all the support you have given so far.

I typed modlook into the sidebar on this thread for you.
. Also, I registered for the support form and have not received an email back yet. I am confused.
If you used this form http://support.wordpress.com/contact/n posting here on the peer support forums is redundant and will not result in getting Staff support more quickly.
If you have access to a desktop computer, then I suggest you use it at this point, because it will take some time for Staff to work through tickets and threads tagged for their attention and help you, and it may not be until tomorrow or even longer.

RATS! My keyboard is funky.
Edit: If you used this form http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ …. -
Still trying to figure out why my site is frozen. I am thinking it just needs to reset or I can just start over. However, I have no access to edit once I get to the page. There is nothing but lines that say “Warning: Creating….” It is m hope a moderator might be able to assist me. Timethief has tried and I appreciate his help. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I can access your Dashboard without issue, so it doesn’t appear to be coming from us.
First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

I just went to lehnislearningleaders.com/wp-admin and saw the same things I have seen yesterday and today. I switched to Google Chrome yesterday. I cleared out cookies, history, etc. I am wuite flummoxed and frustrated. Two other people at two different computers tried to acces my page and they saw the same thing. I am sure I could be making a user error but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to start over. BTW, macmanx, thanks for your quick response. I hope we can get this solved in the near future. Also, is it possible to have two accounts. I think I signed up in May but that seemed to disappear. It was not hosted on Hostgator. Might two possible accounts be an issue. Again, thank for your help.

This may sound very odd but please confirm the URL here. We assume it is http://lehnislearningleaders.wordpress.com/ that you are referring to. Is that the case or not?

I am confused. I am not very knowledgeable about sites. Three days ago I signed up with Hostgator. I do not know where CyrusOne came from. What do I do? What can I do? Thanks for your patience.

This is a free blog provided by and being free hosted by wordpress.COM http://lehnislearningleaders.wordpress.com/ We do provide support for it here.
Cyrus one is Hostgator and they host http://lehnislearningleaders.com/ which do not provide support for. Contact Hostgator support staff http://support.hostgator.com/
We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs.
As that site is not hosted here at WordPress.COM, our support docs are not relevant, and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Timethief is right, that’s a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we can’t support here at WordPress.com.
Support resources for WordPress.org are provided in her reply above.
