What do I do to get my images to show on my homepage with my recent posts

  my images aren’t displaying on my home page with my excerpt

  Do you mean the 4 featured image posts on Forever? See here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/forever/

  To show only your four latest posts (with a Featured Image above each one, of course) in a neat grid on your home page just visit Appearance → Theme Options and click the checkbox there.

  I did. My 4 latest posts show but without the image. (haitianshelpinghaitians.wordpress.com).

  I chose the “standard” format. I tried all the others but it didn’t make a difference.

  You need to then set a featured image for each of those posts. In Forever, the image must be at least 888 pixels wide to show up.

  How do I know the “pixel” size? I did set it as a featured image, also.

  I changed the pixel size but it does not work…very frustrating!!! How do I speak to someone verbally to walk me through this? Do you know?

  Lastly, featured images must be uploaded to your WordPress.com site and set in each post in the “Featured Image” module. The images can’t be hosted somewhere else and linked to.

  Thanks. No, I don’t have a paid upgrade. Also, I set them as “featured images” and uploaded them directly to my WordPress.com site. I’m thoroughly confused and staying up late trying to fix this…it’s frustrating. The only reason I set up my blog/website was so people could see the all the pics on the home page. I sampled other themes and had the same problem. I must have something set up wrong and not know it?!

  The image that I see in this post http://haitianshelpinghaitians.wordpress.com/2012/07/02/help-us-make-a-difference/ is being linked to from outside WordPress.com. Can you paste here the link to the image on WordPress.com that you set for the post’s featured image?

  I will go ahead and upload all of my feature pictures that way. I have a few that weren’t set up that way.

  Why is it that the ones that were downloaded directly to my WordPress site still not showing up?
