What do I do when the import function isn't working correctly?

  I am trying to import my blog from my .org site to my .com site. I’ve gone thru the export process, downloading the XML file to my computer, then uploaded it to my .com site. I get the email confirming my blog has been imported, but when I look at my .com site, nothing has been imported. I’ve tried the process several times.
