What do I have to do to participate in Daily Prompt?

  How does one actually participate in Daily Prompt? I’ve read everything I could find but still don’t understand. I was looking at the Daily Prompt for the subject of Close Call and had already posted something of this nature on one of my blogs, but I don’t know what to do with it to bring it to the attention of whoever is supposed to look at it. Or do I have to come up with something entirely new whenever a Daily Prompt comes out? And still, there is the matter of how do I get it to the attention of whoever is supposed to look at it? Thanks. I assume you know how to get hold of me.

  I’ve read this already. It says to participate, but I can’t see anything in it that tell me how to participate. I’m obviously missing something, but I fail to see what it is. : )
