What do i mean by redirecting my own domain

  Hi!
  I own a domain name.

  If i buy a personal plan from wordpress , will it mean that it will show the url as the same name or will it redirect people to the wordpress url

  What do i need to do to ensure people see my owned domain name in the URL

  If you upgrade to any of the paid plans of WordPress.com and add a custom domain to your WordPress.com site, then all the users will see the custom domain in the URL when they visit your site. Even if they enter your free address they will then also redirect to your custom domain and will see the custom domain in the URL tab.

  If you have an existing domain and want to use that domain here on your WordPress.com site. You can use that domain in two ways:

  Transferring domain to WordPress.com: It helps you to get everything in one place. You don’t need to look after your domain on a separate platform.
