What do I need to make categories do this ?

  I like the layout of the articles of this website if anyone can help would appreciate it been at it for 12 hours plus and still cant work it out

  For a start the theme they are using is different to yours. Your theme is ‘fresh and clean’ their theme is skylark. You need to change your theme to make it look like theirs.

  To do that you need to go to your dashboard – appearance – themes and find skylark and activate that theme.

  that is my old one I dont know why it logged me in as that, i have the skylark theme its at http://www.xthexscarecrowx.com

  I’m sorry but you have posted to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here at WordPress.com with that site as it’s not being hosted by WordPress.com and we run on different software, and have different version of themes by the same names. This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.
