What Do the Words "Update Visibility" and "Dismiss" Mean?s

    Whenever I update a draft or download and then re-upload new subject matter, I see in the upper right hand corner, two different words: “Dismiss” and “Update Visibility”. What do these two words mean and what am I expected to do with them, as I haven’t been able to locate an answer to what I am referring to? (NOTE: My daughter created my Blog Site, which supposedly went “Viral” this past Sunday, 7/26/2020 and, I was under the impression, that as soon as it has gone “Viral” everything that I have written (or re-written) automatically posts to my active site.)
