What do you think of this idea?
-
[Note: I am a software illiterate and I request techies to read between the lines]
I would like to have a feature in WordPress that can enable me or the commenters to annotate/reference part of my post so that it could be easier for me to communicate with the commenters (or the other way round) in a better way.
I don’t want to make my blog commenter to jump around my blog when I say (for example) “If you refer to para 2 line 7, para 4 line 2 and para 8 line 3, you will get the answer ” etc.. instead I want to place links (like hyperlink) to the respective lines in the comment block that she/he can click and traverse.
This will boost wordpress bloggers productivity
Thanks,
RakeshThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like page jumps (also known as anchor tags) or blockquotes might work well for you here.

If you’d like to quote part of your post, or another commenter, copy the section you want to quote. Then type

paste your content in and type
You can add your comment after that.
