What does a “search engine term” show?

  Hey Guys,

  Is there anyone out there who could enlighten me with how what does the “search engine terms” board actually show on the stats page? Is it the words that visitors have searched on google for example and got my blog page as on of the results. Plz explain to me..

  i am not so sure about that as my results on google come at a very late page. It must be working somehow differently..

  @newsaura – Thesacredpath is correct. He usually is. There are many search engines and they often rank things differently. I have posts that are #1 on Yahoo but #3 or 4 on Google — and vice versa.

  yeah but my top post appears doesnt appear on high frequency neither on yahoo nor google or anywhere I have looked and yet I have more than 1,000 daily hits on that post. Could domeone explain me wtf is goin on??!! :)
