What does Approved mean?

Silence is Golden. So is Piss. What does “Approved” mean and why wasn’t the one comment I made posted while two others were prevented from transmission? I started to blog with no category choices and none approved.

We all have the ability to set up anonymous commenting, or set up either first time comment moderation, or set up moderation of all comments submitted to our blogs. Moreover, we cannot be compelled to approve any comment we do not wish to approve. I’m surprised you have issues with that. If we didn’t have the ability to moderate comments every troll, and flesh peddling spammer, religious zealot or atheist zealot could post comments automatically to our blogs. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/
Spam and Libel
Everything posted on a blog contributes to its brand and the blogger’s reputation either positively or negatively. Posting spam comments and/or troll comments and/or libelous comments reflects negatively on a blog’s brand, authority and page rank, deters other commenters from submitting legitimate comments, encourages the submission of more spam comments and posting libel can result in a legal suit. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/05/24/keeping-your-blogging-cool/
