What does avatar mean?

  wordpress sites in the source code “avatar” word is passing. In what sense did you use the word “avatar” when coding this script?

  Is it the “avatar”, the god of the hindus?
  Or do you mean the normal “profile picture”?

  WHAT DOES “AVATAR” MEAN?

  The avatar refers to a user’s profile picture.
