What does Date Accepted – Waiting mean?

    I have invited a new author to my blog, they have accepted the invitation. They show under my users, but it says Dated Accepted, ‘waiting’. What is the next step? How do I change the ‘waiting’ status to accepted?

    If it is showing “Waiting” it means that they have not accepted the invitation properly. They will receive an email asking to accept the invitation. Once they accept, they will be prompted to sign into their blog (they must have a WordPress.com blog to accept). Once they do so, it will accept and update them to become a user on your blog. They will be able to find your blog under the My Blogs tab in Dashboard.
