  What does it mean to add a site to one’s domain ? And How do one add a site to his domain ?

  Hi there!

  A domain is just an address – think of it as a phone number that calls up your site when typed into a browser. It will not display any content if there’s no site connected to it.
  If you already own a domain, you can create a site here, on WordPress.com and map the domain to it as explained here:
