Gabrielle,
A ‘parked’ domain usually refers to one that has already been acquired and is already owned by someone. The term generally refers to two different types of parked domains. One is a domain that has not yet been linked to any content and is not yet hosted anywhere, so there’s no home page for it and the registrar will generate a default web page in the browser. Parked can also refer to a domain that has been acquired for advertisements or speculation.

If a domain is parked, you can expect it’s likely for sale but at a much higher price than a non-parked domain. I’d pick a different domain.
