What does the Stats ticker mean in the WordPress bar?
-
When I log on to my blog, I see a heatmap of visits to my site with a number next to it. However, this doesn’t seem to correlate strongly with what I see if I look at the full stats view for my blog.
What does it mean?
Also, it would be sweet to have a blog stats widget for Android.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
It sounds like you’re referring to the sparkline like the one shown here:
https://cloudup.com/cJAdCxlxwTt (yours looks much better! :) )
That represents a view of the last 48 hours of visitor activity on your blog. The number beside the line represents the highest amount of views per hour over that time period. You can read more about that here (3-4 paragraphs down):
As far as the blog stats widget, we offer stats through our Android app:
If you’re looking for a way to view your stats from an Android device, that would be your best bet. If you’re referring to something completely different, let me know!

Thanks a lot! So the number I’m seeing pertains to the highest activity point in the last 48 hours, which lets me infer by the other bars what my average activity has been like.
-
Yep! The number represents the highest number of views in a single hour over the past 48 hours so it’s a general indication of how much activity your blog has received.
