What does the tiles gallery icon not appear in tool bat?

I clicked the tiles gallery box in my media setting, but no icon appears in the tool bar of my post. I still cannot move photos from my gallery there. What’s wrong please?

I am not certain I understand what you mean by “tool bar”, but if you want a Gallery in your post or page, you have to upload your images to the post or page where you want them to appear via the “Upload Media” button in the Post Editor. After uploading, click on the “Save all changes” button and then switch to the Gallery tab in the Image Uploader. There you can adjust your settings for the Gallery and click “Insert Gallery”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
This is assuming that you want the regular Gallery with thumbnail images.

Yes, I do mean tool bar (sorry for typo), BUT my problem is with the new tiles gallery, not the regular thumbnail. I have all my photos uploaded to my gallery, but I cannot create the new tiles gallery onto my draft post, and not get to the carousel, whatever it is. Please help. Thanks.

If in your Dashboard>Settings>Media Settings you have selected to show all your photos in the tiled mosaic, the process is exactly the same as I described above.
- Upload your images in the post or page where you want them to appear
- Save all changes
- Switch to the Gallery tab in the Image Uploader
- Insert Gallery in Post or Page
The Image Carousel is the default viewer for photos. When anyone clicks on a photo in the Gallery, the full page overlay appears.

Good, and thank you for your patience. Step 1 and 2 done (a long time ago) My question is : Where is the Gallery tab on my post bar? I still have only 3 icons on the Image Uploader. The guy teaching on YouTube pulled down something, a 4th icon that I do not have and cannot find. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

YouTube? Most every video on YouTube relates to the standalone version of WordPress, not WordPress.com.
If you follow the instructions (1 and 2) as I’ve given them above, after you hit the “Save all Changes” button in the Image Uploader, you should see an additional tab appear in the Image Uploader called “Gallery”. It appears between the “From URL” and “Media Library” tabs. It’s from that Gallery tab that you insert the Gallery. There is no additional icon that appears in the Post/Page Editor tool bar after you’ve uploaded images.
I hope the above is now clear because I really don’t have any other suggestions for you. Your site is on WordPress.com and you should be following the instructions in the Gallery support doc I linked to above and I tried to simplify it here in this forum thread. Best wishes.
