What does this email mean

    I received an email from WordPress with the subject, “[B Shapiro Photography] New User Registration”

    The text was:
    New user registration on your site B Shapiro Photography:
    Username: DanialMortimer
    E-mail: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Does this mean that Danial Mortimer has taken over as the registered user of my website? Is “B Shapiro Photography” different than “BShapiro Photography?” Have I been hacked?

    Please let me know ASAP,

    Oh RATS!

    I failed to click into the site first and no I have done so what I posted above is not relevant. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
