What does this error mean?

    When I try to add content I get a message that says ‘Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.’

    Hey there, if that’s happening here on our services (like with terrancebramblett.wordpress.com) can you please log out, then log back in and confirm whether the issue persists?

    You might also test another browser. Usually that error indicates your login (through cookies) is somehow getting lost. And typically if logging out, clearing cache, and logging back in isn’t fixing it, using a different browser will, which will allow you to troubleshoot your preferred browser. But if the same thing is happening through multiple browsers, we’ll need to dig deeper. Let us know.
