What does this mean?

  I am attempting to install a NaNoWriMo word count widget onto my blog but when I do, it keeps telling me to ‘configure the widget’ . What does that mean; and whereabouts would I ideally put that kind of widget? I have put it in Image space but there is no widget there, only the ‘Configure’ notice.

  Sorry if I sound like a dim wit. :(

  There’s a couple of things going on on that page and the picometer image address doesn’t end in an image file extension so it won’t work the way they’ve stated, at least not here.

  I have one foot out the door so let me look more closely a bit later.
