What does "visitor" really mean in the stats
-
In the site stats, you offer views and visitors. I presume that a visitor refers to a particular computer. So, if there are three family members who share a computer, then you might report 3 views and 1 visitor, when actually it could be 3 views and 3 unique visitors. Correct? Thanks, Paul

The two main units of traffic measurement are views and unique visitors. A view is counted when a visitor loads or reloads a page. A visitor is counted when we see a user or browser for the first time in a given period (day, week, month).
