What email followers receive when I post a new article on my blog
-
Hi, contacted last Thursday. I wrote my first blog and posted it. I am the only email recipient of my blog at this stage. So my blog sent me an email about my post, I opened it, and it was a bunch of gobbledygook. What I want my email subscribers to receive is a link for them to open that takes them to my blog. This is all so new to me and I am lost in space. Waiting patiently for your assistance. Many thanks. Debbie Dawson

All subscribers will receive an HTML formatted email, there’s no way to change that.
Can your email client read HTML formatted emails?

Okay, so I’m on a mac. How do I receive HTML formatted emails? I’ve looked at preferences but I don’t see an option. Many thanks for your help and suggestions. I only have one email client and that’s me, fyi. Wanted to test it first before I sent it out to the world.

Also, in the email, there are two identical columns. One green and one red. It doesn’t seem right.

Most email clients are setup to view HTML formatted email by default. What email program or website are you using to view your email?
Would it be possible for you to post a screenshot of the problem showing the entire screen so we can see what you are seeing?

I think it might just be what you send me when I change something on my post. Likely, I have been confused. I’m testing it with family members first. I’ll get back to you if there are any issues. Thanks.
