    Hi there!

A domain name is nothing but your website’s URL which you write on the browser ‘s address bar. Domain names are unique for every site (like fingerprints!), and no two websites can share the same domain name. In your case, the domain name would be “alfaazehsaas.wordpress.com”.

Please note that WordPress’s Free version will give you a WordPress.com sub-domain [sitename.wordpress.com] instead of your own domain [sitename.com]. This means unless you upgrade your plan you will continue to have “alfaazehsaas.wordpress.com“.

For example, If you want your site name it to be “alfaazehsaas.com”, then you would at least need to upgrade to a paid plan.

This will let you have a domain of your own choice. Now choosing domain can be done in two ways –
    1. Either buy it from a domain from Web Hosting Sites like (BlueHost or GoDaddy) and then map it to your website’s address. Mapping an existing domain to your WordPress site can be found here.
    2. Or use a WordPress itself to register your new domain by following these steps but this will require a Paid plan.

There are more details available on Domains on our Support page.

Please let me know if you are confused about any of the above and I would happily clarify it to you! :)

    Best,
    Pri
