What EXACTLY is a View in Stats?

  What is a view? Is it a unique visitor? How is it counted?

  They don’t report uniques, etc, to the users. They don’t break it down that much.

  Stats count Page Views, which generally means someone loading a page in a browser. We don’t try to count unique visitors because there’s no accurate way to do it (most stats utilities simply guess).

  Well, yes, but you are running Google analytics on our blogs. There is more information being collected than being disseminated to the bloggers.
