What happend to Visual and HTML Editor? Formating Buttons Not Working Now.

Did Glenn Beck Paraphrase or Plagiarize Frederick Douglass Without Attribution? (Nov. 17, 2003)
Formating buttons in the Visual and HTML Editors have stopped working. Visual and HTML Editors are acting like a buggy Beta version. Wierdest effect is the appearance of the Link Pop Up window is different and it does not add the link in the Visual Editor. I switch to the HTML Editor to add the link manually but it disappears when I hit the ENTER key to finish.
These problems just popped up when I was formatting the above post. Did it hit something that disabled the formatting buttons?

Give it a try now. It looks like it is working again. I just did a complex code test in my test blog and everything stayed right where it was supposed to be.

I don’t think the problem is entirely resolved. I’m still having problems with adding a link in the Visual Editor, at least when I’m using Firefox 3.6. The box will pop up, but there won’t be an “http://” in the URL window, and I cannot add the link from there. Additionally, the cancel button does not work. I must “X out” of the window from the upper right corner. Adding a link in the HTML editor works fine, but I must hand-add the ‘target=”_blank”‘ to the A tag.

Give this a try. Make sure that you manually click the “save draft” button before you try and add any links. That seems to work for me with FF 3.6.13 on Mac.
