What happened if you do not renew the space upgrade per year?

  I am really near to complete the 3 GB of space in my blog. So I am planning to upgrade to 5 GB space upgrade per year. However, my doubt is, what’s happening if I upload for example 1 Gb of this new upgraded space with new pictures and content and then I did not renew next year the space upgrade? I will lost some content of my uploaded pictures? or simply I just will not be able to upload new pictures next year?

  It would also be nice to know whether you can have the space upgrade on autorenew like domain mappings. Its not entirely foolproof as the card registered against can expire but it makes it less likely to be missed
