What happened to editing photo galleries?
-
FWIW-I ran my check on my sites, which is not an “internal” test site.
And again to be clear, I was editing in what is now called the Classic Post Editor in my site’s Dashboard (mysite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/)and not the Editor found in the New Dash. (wordpress.com/post/)

@jeremeylduvall
I tried using firefox and it appears to be working. Chrome is still not working. Thank you -
My first problem with this was a couple of weeks ago. After reading the forum topic I ditched Firefox for Chrome and all was working fine. Now it isn’t again. I have cleared the cache and am using dashboard editor. When I click on a gallery in edit mode nothing happens. The pencil and cross icons are there but zilch! I have quite a number of galleries and this is a very active site so it is very inconvenient for me. Any more suggestions please? Should I go back to Firefox as it is working for lanalachyani? Many thanks

WordPress development just gets worse and worse. Fix something and break something elsewhere seems to the general rule!

We test everything on official WordPress.com blogs so we’re running the same code as everyone else.
Thanks for sending over that screenshot. I appreciate it!
@lanalachyani and @bordertextilegroup – Thanks for the additional reports. I don’t have a suggested fix just yet, but I will update you as soon as I have one. For right now, switching to Firefox seems to be the best “solution”.
