what happened to my blog post from yesterday?

Hi, my name is himmjc and I began using wordpress yesterday. I typed in a short, history-related post, one dealing with an event that took place on May 10, 1933, the other about one that occurred on May 10, 1994. I can’t find those on my blog. What happened – specifically, what did I do wrong that resulted in the disappearance?
